Airport PickUp Info

Best wishes for the festive season and the New Year 2011 to all our customers!
 
Unfortunately, the traffic and parking problems at Melbourne Airport only GOT WORSE during 2010.  Other problems are more and more delayed and cancelled flights and LONG luggage delays also!
 
We are now having to expand our Text/Ring service to domestic flights as well as the international arrivals.  We do text/ring on international arrivals to save the parking fees and because who knows how long it can take to do immigration and customs and baggage etc?
 
SO,  when conditions on the ground are difficult, our office or your allocated driver WILL TEXT YOU while you are in flight.  Please turn your phone on as soon as it is safe to do so, read our text and follow the instructions given  This is usually where to meet your driver if you only have carry on luggage, or to ring when you finally have your bags so that your driver can then arrange your pick up!
 
The information provided re. your flight status is SO INACCURATE that parking and wasted time is affecting our financial survival.
 
ALSO NOTE -  It is the client's responsibility to notify VHA if their flight is delayed, cancelled or changed.  We are not able to access that information  We now rely on you to KEEP US INFORMED.  Failure to do so affects our ability to pick up other clients on time and full cancellation fees will apply.
